TAK's Credit Control Service works as an extension to your organisation, removing the administrative burden whilst you retain control and visibility of the process. TAK provide varying degrees of service, helping our customers to achieve different objectives in the area of Credit Control. This may be a temporary service providing cover for absence or maternity leave, a partial outsourcing service to support the internal credit control department, or a complete outsourced service to become your credit control function. Our services are tailored to the individual needs of each customer, but generally our service is designed to achieve the following objectives :
At TAK we utilise best practice processes and work with our clients to agree details of the service. No two customers are the same so our credit control service is based around the individual need of each customer. Clients often have peaks and troughs in service demand so TAK offers flexible capacity to meet the changing workload.
Credit Control is a business critical function requiring great sensitivity. At TAK we recognise the need for personal contact which is why we use named credit control managers for each client.
Most of our clients prefer the credit control service to be transparent to their customers. TAK use a dedicated phone line for each of our clients (with the clients own local dialing code), and will make and answer all calls using the client's company name. This extends to use of our clients email address for electronic correspondence and letterhead for Final Demands. We appear to be a part of your organisation and provide a professional and courteous service to your customer, protecting your image.
At TAK we utilise technology in a practical and sensible way to achieve best results. Technology is employed to reduce administration, increase accuracy and provide visibility. We work with our clients to agree the best solution, and this can evolve through the life of the contract. With most of our clients we will remotely access to the clients ledger ensuring that we have an up to date view of outstanding accounts and adding notes for all contacts that we make so that you have a full history at your disposal. TAK are also able to provide Credit Control Software which integrates directly with Sage and Microsoft Accounts systems such as Great Plains and Navision. This software gives useful real-time management reports and allows greater automation in the credit control process. Other options include print fulfillment and document management to reduce the costs of sending invoices, and use of TAK's Credit Risk Analysis solution to track risk of your new and existing customers.
Working with TAK brings best practice process to your Credit Management. This ensures that your customers are called as a matter of course should an invoice become overdue, and with most clients pre-calls made to ensure that there are no invoice queries to be raised which may slow down the payment process. Implementing a structured process means that your regular customers begin to change payment habits resulting in improvements in cashflow, and new customers understand that you are serious about gaining payment hence there is less chance of remedial debt. In the rare case where payment cannot be achieved via credit control then the account can be escalated to TAK's separate Debt Recovery team who then pursue the debt in the TAK name.
